Ailalelo Producións is a creative production company founded in 2021 by journalists and writers Arturo Lezcano and Nacho Carretero.
We transform journalistic reports and investigations into fiction series with a distinctive narrative style, visual ambition, and a commitment to truth.
We discover, investigate, and develop stories and realities to turn them into audiovisual projects.
THE FOUNDERS
Together, they lead Ailalelo with a clear vision: to transform journalism into audiovisual narratives that impact, move, and connect with reality.
Nacho Carretero (A Coruña, 1981)
He connected his career as a reporter and investigative journalist with the audiovisual world through the Fariña project. His book, published in 2015, was adapted into a fiction series by Bambú Producciones for AtresMedia.
Subsequently, in 2019, he repeated the process with En el corredor de la muerte for MovistarPlus+. The documentary 800 Metros about the 17A attacks in Barcelona, for Netflix, was his last audiovisual project before starting his time at Ailalelo.
Arturo Lezcano (Ferrol, A Coruña, 1976)
He has developed a career always closely linked to audiovisuals. First, as a television journalist in Galicia, then as a correspondent in Latin America leading Maresia, his news and report production company. And, back in Spain, participating in the development and script of television programs and documentaries, such as El último símbolo (Amazon Prime), before starting his own path again with Ailalelo, from research to production.
HEAD OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Carlos Marlasca (Madrid, 1979)
He has been reporting on current events in Spain both in front of and behind the cameras in international media such as Telemundo, Deutsche Welle, BBC, and Euronews. He has also worked in national television channels such as La Sexta, before joining Ailalelo, where he manages everything from research and content development to project production.
